Palmer & Harvey McLane approached PK looking for a cabin
to upgrade the gatehouse in their goods-in, goods out-area
at their Birtley Depot in County Durham.
PK modified and fully refurbished a 16' x 9' Plastisol clad
jackleg cabin from their extensive fleet. On completion the
cabin boasted uPVC double glazed windows, a bespoke powder
coated sliding gatehouse window, anthracite hard wearing
office carpet, wall mounted 2kW convector heating and Category
II lighting. Externally the gatehouse cabin was finished in
P&H’s corporate colours of honeysuckle and sigma
red.
PK then delivered and positioned the gatehouse at the Birtley
Depot, which had recently undergone an entrance overhaul.
The delivery of the gatehouse office completed the refurbishment
project.
