Our purpose built facilities allow us the flexibility to
use a wide range of materials and external finishes and ensures
that we can provide quick lead times for projects without compromising
the quality of finish.
Due to the nature of our business there are a variety of
terms used to describe a portable building. Here we have tried to
clarify some of the terms used:
- 'Pre-fabricated building' is generally used to describe a building manufactured under factory controlled conditions prior to installation.
- 'Modular building' is a single or multi-storey building made up of individual modules, which after manufacture or refurbishment, are transported to site and linked together to form a larger completed building. Modular buildings can be fitted out internally to suit any requirement. We always keep a wide range of modular buildings in stock.
- 'Cabin' is a term generally used to describe single units which can be used for a variety of applications and can be linked and double stacked as required.
- A 'jackleg unit' is another description for cabins. Our range of cabins is extensive. If required, they can be partitioned to suit your specific needs, for example to form offices, toilets, shower rooms, changing areas, passageways etc.
- 'Mobile units' are wheeled units which can be easily moved on site as required.
- 'Anti-vandal' units are robust steel units designed to deter vandalism or theft. They can be supplied as storage units and/or offices and can be fitted out for any other application.
